Bite Size 16

Don't call it a comeback!

Small change squabbles
----------------------------------
Some months after Sista P ordered its return, it's reported that the $31M 'donated' to the Jamaican government by Dutch company Trafigura has finally made it into their hands. It's speculated that Trafigura may be a little unwilling to take it back, because it may create for them a conflict with their government... So, Ja doesn't want it, and Trafigura doesn't want it back... GIVE IT TO ME! GIVE IT TO ME! I'll take it, dammit!

Let the blunders begin...
---------------------------------
The Grenadian government decided to celebrate the reconstuction of their cricket ground (by the Chinese government) with an inauguration ceremony. However, when the band began to play the foreigners' anthem, the Chinese became visibly uncomfortable- the anthem played was actually that of Taiwan! How does one make such a mistake? Info like that is easy to find on the internet! And it's not they live in St. Vincent... I know they have internet there!!! (That's an inside joke... please forgive me)

How much does she cost?
-----------------------
Closed captioning is not always accurate. While scrolling through channels one morning I stopped on Maury's show, as he wrapped up an interview with Kimberly Locke (former American Idol contestant). Maury closed by saying to the TV and studio audience, "Go out and buy Kimberly's second album!" However, the caption read, "Go out and buy Kimberly's secretarial bum!" A two different ting dat!!!

The ultimate sacrifice
-----------------------------
New Zealand cricketer Jacob Oram has a badly injured ring finger, which was bent to a right angle when he took a catch in a recent One-Day International match. The finger may not recover in time for the World Cup, and he can't play if it doesn't heal. Oram claims that he is willing to cut the finger off if it means he can play in the tournament, as there's "no way" he's missing it... Well geez... He should thank God it wasn't his penis!

Getting back in the groove!
